The choice for travel is yours.  Arrive at either Brest, Lorient or Quimper airport.   (Hop! Air France offer flights, New York to/from Lorient via Paris Orly and Wow Air offer low cost flights between California and many airports throughout Europe.)

Or if flying is not for you why not experience French travel by train and arrive at Quimper station. Whichever option you choose, we’ll be there to meet you. You can travel quite easily from Paris Gare De Bercy (which is just a short walk from Gare De Lyon) and Charles de Gaulle Airport directly to Quimper.

Driving takes 1 hour from Brest, 1½ hours from Lorient or ½ hour from Quimper to Douarnenez. Once you have booked into your hotel, your pre-chosen activities, visits etc can begin.

From the very beginning of your tour I will be your personal English/French speaking guide. This is especially valuable to non-French speaking people, travel itself can be very daunting for some people, but where there is a language barrier too this can be extremely stressful, I shall be on hand to minimise any stress caused by language issues therefore allow you to enjoy Douarnenez to the full.

I am the main guide, interpreter, and organiser of Enjoy France Tours and on certain occasions the driver too. We have a regular driver who speaks French, English and also German.

All specialised activities are sub-contracted out to local professionals thus guaranteeing the expertise in activities and most importantly safety, and keeps work and financial interests within our region.

We offer three different tours with a recommended minimum stay of 8 days / 7 nights and one tour recommending a stay of 10 days / 9 nights.

The above tour days and nights are at your discretion and on demand.  We also have Special Tours available which have been developed and designed around specific festivals.

Obviously, depending on your choice of tour, hotel, activities and special requests, our tour costs differ.  Please note: Breakfast and dinner are fully inclusive.

When your personalised holiday has been determined a full itinerary with daily schedules will be emailed to you for your approval.

My goal is that you enjoy true France, experience the French way of life, taste and smell France, hear French, learn and “like” the French.   All of this in our very unpolluted part of the world.

Basically, it is a dream life and one (I doubt) you will ever forget. Remember - I will be there to assist, translate and generally help you from the moment your tour starts (although I won’t stay at your hotel each night!) Hiking - For your comfort, we recommend good comfortable walking/hiking shoes and, as we are on the coast and the weather can be unpredictable, a good wind cheater/rain jacket.

Sailing and Spa Thalasso - Sailing jackets will be provided for yachting.  Don’t forget your swimming costumes and caps and most importantly in very sunny weather!
